KELSUNG PRODUCTIONS

2/6/5

A couple weeks ago Brian showed up to jam in my garage for the first time in months, and tonight he did again. And Sean showed up too, for the first time in almost a year. It was one hell of a good time. My son paid me a serious compliment, too. He said "When it's just you, I just hear racket. When it's you and Brian, it's nice. But with all three of you, it actually sounded like music, and it sounded pretty good."

The Grand Finale is this Saturday. With everything else, there's no chance whatsoever of us getting to take the stage. I have no hope, no serious delusions that anyone will let us. But on the one-in-million chance that it happens, we wanted to be ready for it. So we've been focusing on a specific four-song set. Or at least trying, but miserably failing, to focus. We were just having too good a time.

I've got a long week ahead. I actually got on the computer to print up a new cover and lyric sheet for the old EP of The Band. I want to have several copies of both the old and new one on hand to sell at The Grand Finale. And I plan on sneaking in one of several bonus tracks into a handful of them.

Cool, the wife is home. That means I can actually bail out and go to the 24-hour Kinkos and make copies. With that in mind, I'll cut this short.
