(Bob and Vic sit on couch,
Mario sits at bar, Amanda sits on chair to side)

Vic     : "Easy money."
Bob     : "Yeah, I've played her pool, took her for a fat stack,
           and smoked chron for a week"
Vic     : "Some people just love the abuse"
(Michelle slides open door, exits, closes door)
Michelle: "Jim just kicked my ass at nine-ball"
(Amanda stands up to leave)
Amanda  : "You ready to go?"
Michelle: "Yeah, see you guys later"
(Michelle leaves down walkway with Amanda)
Bob     : "Later"
Mario   : "See ya"

(pause as they leave)
Vic (half-whispered)
        : "See what I mean?"
Bob     : "Jim's pretty slick, but I can take him"
Vic     : "Famous last words"
(Mario laughs, Bob flips him off)
Mario   : "Like you're any good at nine-ball"
Bob     : "I smoked off her for a week;
           I'd smoke off your ass for a month"
Mario   : "You'd be smokin nothin but schwag!" (laughs)
Bob     : "Whatever, ho"

(turns back to Vic)
Bob     : "So what was this thing with Bud?"
Vic     : "Oh, he's been seeing Stacey on the side,
           but doesn't know I know yet"
Bob     : "No way!"
Vic     : "I saw 'em at Jonni's last week
           and asked around about it"
(Bob looks mildly shocked, Vic nods her head)
Bob     : "So what are you gonna do?"
Vic     : "Nothing.  I'm just gonna give him blue balls
           for a while, dump him and be done with it"

(Sliding door opens and Jim puts his head out)
Jim     :"Hey, one of you assholes gonna come play pool with me?
(Mario shakes his head 'No')
Bob     : "Yeah, I'll be there in a minute"
(Jim closes door)
Mario (to Bob)
        : "Now's your chance to prove yourself"
(Bob flips him off again)
Bob     : Hey, don't get fucked up!"
(Mario smiles)

(turns back to Vic)
Bob     : "I always told you Bud was a loser"
Vic     : "Yeah I know"
Bob     : "You don't seem too upset"
Vic     : "I've been sick of his shit for a long time now"
Bob     : "Well, I doubt you'll be alone for very long,
           especially if I have anything to say about it"
(Both chuckle mildy)
Vic     : "Get your ass in there"
Bob (as he stands)
        : "Yeah, time for Jim to know his role"
(he approaches door)
Mario   : "Don't lose your shirt"
(Bob jokingly punches Mario's shoulder)
Bob     : "I told you not to get fucked up, bitch!"
Bob (to Vic, with a wink)
        : "Talk to you later"
(Bob enters room)
